Portrait Photography Style

The underlying philosophy of all my portrait work is “Natural-ness” From the time I held my first camera in my hand at the age of 12, up until now, I’ve prided myself on being a 100% natural light photographer.

It’s important that in my portrait work the subject blends into their natural surrounding in such a way that the beauty that is possessed by the subject is reflected in the landscape and the beauty in the landscape is reflected in the subject.

Most everyone I photograph are real people with real bodies. I look for the inner strength and beauty of people to display in a visual way. I also shoot in 100% pure natural light. This unleashes their physical beauty much more so than any model with expensive lights and retouching.
