Fine Art Style

I grew up looking at books published by the old masters of photography.  I learned to love the powerful landscapes of Ansel Adams, the intensity of Edward Weston and the delicate scenes by Paul Strand.

Throughout the years, I’ve logged many miles on my vehicles, traveling across California and the West, photographing the unique landscapes, places and other items of interest. I have such a passion for the open road and the natural world around us. I want to document as many beautiful and stirring images I can and share those with the rest of the world.

For me, a landscape photograph is entirely about Mother Nature. She’s on spotlight, and I try to minimize the presence of man-made objects in my photos.

During travel, my desire is to get a sense of place, and how the people that live there relate to the environment, and their own identity.
